Margaret Hanlon-Bell currently works for a company that invests in and delivers cutting edge, innovative products and technologies, acting as a catalyst for physician-led innovation in Canada. The firm’s goal is to bring about healthcare transformation leading to improved health outcomes.
Margaret has worked as a healthcare professional and as a member of the leadership teams for medical device and pharmaceutical companies giving her exposure to international healthcare systems.
She has always been involved with stakeholders, including the Canadian Association of Nephrology Nurses & Technologists, the Ontario Kidney Foundation, and an Ontario Medical Association sub committee. Most recently, she volunteered as a healthcare advocate, helping change the trajectory of an individual’s health outcomes.
Margaret’s husband was diagnosed nine years ago with Parkinson’s disease. As a member of the Parkinson Canada Board and Chair of the Stakeholder Relations Committee, she hopes to contribute to the strategic direction of Parkinson Canada; helping to achieve its mission of transforming the lives of people living with Parkinson’s and our vision of a world without Parkinson’s.
